Lab results are delivered via SMS and email to the patient. A link will then redirect you to your GoRev Patient™ portal account where you can access your account.
You may call the Lab at (929) 399-2499 to check on the status of your results.
Unless you are a parent or authorized to access them, you will not be able to view other patients results. If you are a parent and used your contact information for your child, you will be able to verify your child’s information and view them under dependents in your patient portal.

If you do not have insurance you will have to pay for the tests performed by Americareorthorthopedics Labs before specimen collection services are performed. For Covid19 testing, you may provide a valid drivers license or Social Security number to be covered by the Cares Act.
Just like any other blood test, a small amount of blood is removed and sent to a reference laboratory utilizing the most accurate tests currently available. The results from this test are usually available within 24-48 hours.
. A positive test indicates that you have previously been exposed to the COVID-19 virus. It is currently unknown if the presence of antibodies prevents future infections from the COVID-19 virus. Until additional research can be done a person previously exposed with a positive antibody test should take the same precautions to prevent spread of disease as anyone else. This includes social distancing, wearing a mask, use of hand sanitizer and cleaning of surfaces.
Unfortunately, It is currently unknown if the presence of antibodies prevents future infections from the COVID-19 virus.
It is currently not known if the presence of antibodies to COVID-19 confers immunity for any length of time. Additional research will need to be completed before the question can be answered.
Outside of the normal discomfort of having a blood sample removed the only known risks involve misunderstanding the meaning of the test results.

The most accurate antibody tests can normally detect the COVID-19 antibody about 14 days following the onset of symptoms. Obtaining the test too soon increases the possibility of a false negative.
